Christening Blanket
This is the Christening blanket I made for Baby Ronak. It is made out of handkerchiefs, entredeaux, and Swiss embroideries. It was a true labor of love. I bought the kit and the handkerchiefs weren't all the same size, so I had one heck of a time getting this thing together! (Not to mention that there were NO instructions with it!) However, I am very pleased with how it came out, and I hope Allanna (Ronak's mother) is too! We're taking it to her today.

This is a bib I made for Baby Ronak. The stitching technique is called "chicken scratch". I had so much fun making this cute little teddy bear for Ronak. He's 3 months old now! That's so hard to believe!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look around today. Later over the weekend or early next week I'll post pictures of his Christening blanket that I finished.

Diaper Shirt for Baby Ronak
Here is a diaper shirt I made for Baby Ronak. It has a matching yellow diaper cover underneath that can't be seen in the photo. He's 7 weeks old now, and is close to 8 lbs! I can't wait to get down to NC to see him in person! I hope it fits him OK!
Thanks for stopping by & looking today!

Bunnies & Buttons Swing Jacket
I haven't sewn in over 5 years. I used to make all of my tailored business suits, and even made my great nephews heirloom Christening gown.
I made this for a friend that we consider our daughter. She was the flower girl in our wedding, and again when we renewed our wedding vows for our 25th wedding anniversary.
This swing coat is a Gail Doane design that I took at a class a couple of weeks ago. I think it is so stinkin' cute! I really hope that Allanna has a girl, but all I truly want is a healthy happy baby!!! She has elected not to find out the sex of the baby until the birth which is due at the end of this month.
I hope you like my new sewing blog. I also have a card blog www.winnieswhimsandmycrafts.blogspot.com Please check it out also.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Sewing
